MIGRATION ROUTES HAVE EXISTED BEFORE BORDERS ? CLOSE THE CAMPS ‼️?

Greenaction stood with immigrants today in San Francisco City Hall to demand the abolishment of ICE and to close the camps. We stand in solidarity with immigrants who are seeking asylum and refuge in the United States. We stand with those who call the US their home and are being affected with persecution and deportation by the Trump Administration. We demand the children to be FREE, no human being deserves to be locked away into a camp, no human being deserves to be a victim of racism, xenophobia, racism in any shape or form.

Immigrants who come into the United States have statistically shown to live in the most environmentally vulnerable regions of the country. These are areas that are affected by the impacts of climate catastrophe, contaminated land, unsafe drinking water, polluted air, to name a few. From Bayview Hunters Point, Treasure Island, Fremont, down to Salinas Valley, Kettleman City, Buttonwillow, and other communities, low-income communities of color are continuously at the FRONTLINE of environmental racism and environmental injustice. Greenaction for Health and Environmental Justice stands AGAINST hate, as migration routes have existed BEFORE borders. ?
