The community of Bayview Hunters Point suffers from high rates of cancer and asthma due to the disproportionate exposure to pollution xyz xyz. Greenaction has been organizing with BVHP since 1980’s and together we have successfully xyz. Today we are fighting for transparency about the falsified data by Tetratech etc etc.

Laytonville, CA 

KETTLEMAN CITY, CA

The community of Kettleman City lives within x miles from the largest waste site west of the missisipi. In 2010 large clusters of birth defects drew national attention about the environmental burneds this farmworker community has endured. Greenaction has been organizing with BVHP since 1997 and helped stop the expansion project. We are gearing up to organize again against their proposal to xyz LEARN MORE

Laytonville, CA

The community of Laytonville is rising to defend their right to life. Between 1950 and 1993 Mendocino county operated two landfills in Laytonville that were improperly capped and have continued to contaminate surrounding wells, springs, ground water, air, soil. Cancer and miscarriages are only a few of the health issues the community members have endured for decades but enough is enough.
