Last night, our academy participants made history in hosting our very first VIRTUAL community gathering on zoom, while streamed onto Facebook Live! We want to thank everyone who came to our gathering, we truly weren’t expecting such amazing participation and engagement from the audience. ????? From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for joining and thank you to our presenters Martha Sánchez from Cal EPA department of pesticide regulation and Mr. Henry Gonzales, Monterey County’s Agricultural Commissioner.
A special message of recognition from community organizer Augie Angel for our youth: “I am extremely proud of their personal growth and leadership skills that they have developed throughout this academy.
